Struktur dan komposisi vegetasi hutan mangrove di Desa Boyantongo Kecamatan Parigi Selatan Kabupaten Parigi Moutong

Research on the structure and composition of mangrove vegetation in Boyanngo Village, South Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency was carried out from March to April 2021. This study aims to determine the composition and structure of mangrove vegetation. The study used the transect method (5 transects and 25 plots). The results showed that there were 6 species from 4 families of mangrove plants, namely Rhizophora apiculata Blume, Bruguiera gymnoriza (L.) Lam., Ceriops tagal (Perr.) C.B.Rob. (Rhizophoraceae), Xylocarpus granatum J.Koenig (Meliaceae), Sonneratia alba Sm. (Lhythraceae), Avicennia marina Var. rumphiana (Hallier fil.) Bakh. (Acanthaceae).The results of the calculation of the Important Value Index (INP) showed that Rhizophora apiculata Blume was higher with a value of 193,71%. The diversity index was included in the medium category on trees with a yield of 1,30% on trees, and low on 0,43% on saplings and 0.78% on seedlings.
